Here’s a fresh face that you’re going to be hearing alot more of, meet Taryn Blake. She’s from Fresno, is a wickedly talented singer and very easy on the eyes. Read here interview below and check out this pics from the shoot.

Introduce your self to the world?

Hey Everyone my name is Taryn Blake and I am a Model ,Actress, Singer, dancer, babysitter, retail sales associate, waitress…the list goes on and on. I am just a girl from Fresno trying to make my mark on the amazing city that is Los Angeles.

How did you get into what you are doing?

I have wanted to entertain people for as long as I can remember. I started performing at the age of 7 and haven’t stopped since and I don’t think I ever will. I grew up in musical theater through a non profit in my home town ( Children’s Musical Theaterworks) and that is how I really got into singing, dancing, and acting. I got my modeling start just from local photographers and friends asking to take my picture and it just grew from there.

If you had a chance to have dinner with anybody in the world, who would that be and what would you ask them?

I would most definitely have dinner with the amazingly talented and beautiful Meryl Streep. This woman is a timeless beauty and by far the most talented actress on the planet. I would just ask her what her advice would be for a young actress and just if she would be my mentor in all things life.

What music are you into and what have you been listening to today?

I love all music. Today I listened to Miley Cyrus’s newest album Bangers which I am obsessed with, Drake songs from every album, and last but not least my new music I am working on with DJ Bander that will be dropping on itunes sometime this year, which I am more than excited about.

Whats your take on mobile technology? Do you have a smart phone and what apps are you using the most? Whats a great app recommendation you can give?

I hate to love technology on the one hand it has done wonders and I don’t know if I could live without my iphone but I do miss being able to just sit at the table with someone and have a conversation with no phones involved. The app I hands down use the most is Instagram (taryn_blake) I am totally addicted to it. My favorite new app is Uber which makes getting a car super easy.

Whats your idea of an ideal night/date?

My ideal night varies. I love to go out and dance and have drinks with friends and just be fun and crazy but I also love quite intimate nights at home watching movies and just enjoying one persons company.

Have you ever been recognized when walking around for anything you have done?

In Fresno yes just from local theater performances but not yet here in la…hopefully soon!

Whats is the most dangerous/most daring thing you’ve ever done?

Moving to L.A. hands down I am the first person from my entire extended family to move out of Fresno, and I really didn’t know anyone in L.A. But it has hands down been the best decision I have ever made.

Whats does the word “Sexy” mean to you?

Sexy to me just means knowing who you are and being confident in yourself.

Tell us one thing about yourself that you have never told anybody. You have an open forum to come clean…..

Well I don’t think there is anything I have never told anyone I am pretty much an open book but something not that many people know about me is that I really want to start a nonprofit children’s theater company of my own someday.
